Wheelers Hill Secondary College

We warmly invite prospective families to learn more about the opportunities and support available for students at our school. Please see below regarding our Open Day, along with links to our 2025 Year Book and Wellbeing Handbook, to gain a deeper insight into school life.
Student wellbeing is central to everything we do. Our dedicated wellbeing team includes a Mental Health Practitioner, Wellbeing Teacher, Art Therapist/Counsellor, and Wellbeing Counsellor, ensuring students feel supported, connected, and ready to learn.
A highlight of our school is the self-funded Learning and Wellbeing Centre — a large, multi-purpose space open throughout the school day. Particularly popular with Years 7–9 students, this welcoming environment allows students to:
- heat up food at recess and lunchtime
- study independently or with friends
- play board games
- perform and collaborate
- relax in a safe and inclusive setting
The centre includes a quiet study area and has been especially successful in supporting students who may find social connection challenging.
Located in the same building, our Library, STEM learning spaces, and classrooms for our RISE selective program (Years 7–9) create a vibrant learning hub supported by excellent teachers and an Assistant Principal who are available throughout the day.
We encourage families to visit and experience these spaces firsthand at our Open Day.
