Year 3/4 News
Leannder, Dilan, and Soraya
Over the past few weeks, we have been busy with lots of learning across different areas.
In Weeks 7 and 8, Year 3 students completed their NAPLAN assessments. They showed great focus and resilience, and we are very proud of their efforts.
In Mathematics, we have been exploring perimeter, shapes, and chance. Students have been developing their understanding of how to measure the distance around objects, identify and describe different shapes, and investigate probability through engaging activities.
During Inquiry, we have been learning about the food chain, with a focus on producers and consumers. Students enjoyed discovering how living things depend on each other for energy and survival.
In Literacy, our focus has been on simple and compound sentences, as well as homophones. Students have been practising how to structure their writing clearly and understand words that sound the same but have different meanings.
It has been a wonderful and productive few weeks of learning!
