Lapathon - 25.03.2026

Our annual Lapathon was held last week.  What a great event.

The day started with a whole school ‘Tug o’ War’ challenge.  The students enjoyed this very much, regardless of whether their year won or lost.  Thanks to Mr Spilsted and Mr Condon for running this.

We then had our BBQ lunch. The sausages were yummy.  Thanks to Jenni and her helpers for supplying a great lunch.

Then it was Lapathon time.

The course wound around the school block with the ‘Colour Run’ on the oval.  The students enjoyed being covered in colour.

A big thank you to Perri B-H and Hamish F, the PFA and all their helpers.

The ‘Colour Run’ is a great addition to the Lapathon.

Students walked and ran the course, waving to parents and friends and counting the hidden wombats. There was lots of laughter and smiles, and everyone looked to be enjoying themselves.  Thanks to all the staff and helpers who helped make this a great day.

Now is the time to start collecting sponsorship money and returning it to school.  We are hoping we can raise a good amount this year.  All monies will be spent on resources for our school. Prizes will start going out after the term break.
