Confirmation

As you read this, our Year 6 students will be preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, or will have already celebrated this very special moment in their faith journey.

Our ceremonies will also be beautifully supported by a group of Year 5 students who have generously volunteered to sing in our choir, helping to make these celebrations even more special for our candidates and their families.

A sincere thank you to our parish team and Year 6 teachers for the time, care and preparation they have given to supporting our students on this important journey. We look forward to celebrating with our students and families as they take this significant step in their faith.

Another beautiful Mass was led by our Year 5 students this week, with our Year 1 students joining them.

Fr Jithin unpacked the theme of being in relationship with God so carefully and appropriately for our learners. He made meaningful connections to friendship, fairness and the reassurance that, as a friend of Jesus, we are never alone.

Thank you to our readers and to all our children who participated in every aspect of the Mass with enthusiasm and reverence. Even when the technology let us down, their voices filled the church with song and somehow made the celebration even more joyful.
