Recycling Soft Plastics

EHPS is promoting ‘Recycling Soft Plastics’ this August. All classrooms will be collecting soft plastics that children bring to school such as chip packets, lolly wrappers or any soft plastic packaging that comes to school. All soft plastics collected will be placed into Woolworths soft plastic recycling bins at the end of the month.

Did you know that you can recycle all soft plastics such as bread bags, biscuit packets, pasta packets and any other plastic packaging that you can scrunch. Participating supermarkets such as Woolworths will collect and recycle this packaging and give it a second life. Better than ending up in landfill! So, if you don’t already recycle your soft plastics, start collecting for a better environment!
