Grade 2 News

It has been another busy and engaging week in Grade 2! 

In Mathematics, students have been developing their understanding of Place Value, learning to recognise and represent numbers in different ways.

In Religion, we have been exploring God’s Gifts and discussing how we can appreciate and care for the gifts we have been given.

Our Humanities lessons focused on technological developments, with students showing great curiosity about how technology and storytelling has changed over time.

In Spelling, we have been practising digraphs, helping students build stronger reading and writing skills.

A reminder that reading diaries must be brought to school every day. Daily reading is a vital part of your child’s learning, supporting fluency, comprehension, and confidence.
