Year 1 Highlight

This term, our Year 1 students have been learning about Asia and how it is our closest neighbouring continent. We have been exploring the countries of China, India and Japan, discovering where they are on the map and how people live there. Students have loved learning about different cultures, including traditional foods, clothing, celebrations and daily life. Through stories, discussions and hands-on activities, they have been building an appreciation of the similarities and differences between our lives in Australia and those of our neighbours in Asia. It has been wonderful to see their curiosity and excitement as they learn more about the wider world.
