8EAL Global Markets Excursion

On Friday 6/12, students from and staff from 8EAL undertook an exciting excursion as part of their unit on global markets.

The group took the train into Parliament Station for easy access to Old Treasury. There, they were given an informative guided tour of exhibits which outlined the impact of the gold rush on our city.

After that, the group took 2 trams to travel to the Queen Victoria Market. The students were exposed to a broad range of delicacies, fresh produce and other items as they learnt about our city's most iconic market. They were able to sample some tasty things too!!

Once they had concluded the visit, the group walked to Melbourne Central Station to take a train back to Craigieburn.

The 8EAL global markets excursion was a really rich and productive experience for all involved, especially as the students demonstrated our CSC values throughout the day.

Thank-you to everyone involved in supporting the 8EAL global markets excursion.
