Well done to all Brigidine Football teams who all played with exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the Term.

We had three out of our five teams make it to a conference final. The Junior Bs were victorious against Marist Catholic College North Shore.

Both the Junior A and Senior A teams were unlucky to lose the final. The seniors lost in penalties. They played  tremendously with about 90% possession but were just unlucky in finishing.

The Junior A team put up an exceptional effort towards a strong Marist College North shore team but unfortunately lost.

The Intermediate A team made it to the semi-finals but unfortunately lost in penalties also.

The Junior A and Senior A teams will advance to the Sydney Championships where they will play against Marist Sisters Woolwich. We wish them the best of luck!!

Gymnastics GALA Day

Well Done to the Brigidine Gymnastics team that recently competed at the SCS Gymnastics GALA day. Amidst fierce competition and with unwavering determination, our 10 talented gymnasts showcased their skills across various levels ranging from level 3 to level 7.

Our team members had a fantastic day out, and for some, it was a rediscovery of their love for gymnastics. Their passion and dedication were evident in their performances, and we couldn't be prouder of their efforts.

We are thrilled to announce that our team had three remarkable successes at the GALA day.

  • Sara Botte, secured 3rd place in vault and 2nd place in bars.
  • Olivia Ngapoula was victorious in her level 7 competition. She placed 1st on the beam and 2nd on the bars.
  • Kate Leelachutidech performed a beautiful floor routine in level 7 to place third.

Congratulations to all gymnasts on their exceptional efforts in the Gymnastics GALA Day.

Brigidine proudly entered two Junior teams and two Intermediate teams into the SCS Chess Conference GALA Day. The competition brought together talented chess players from Conference One in SCS, comprising both boys and girls teams.

We are delighted to announce that our Junior Girls and Senior teams emerged as champions in the girls' category. Their exceptional teamwork, analytical thinking, and remarkable gameplay were evident throughout the tournament.

Though our teams faced formidable challenges from some of the male teams, their resilience and sportsmanship never wavered. We are especially proud to acknowledge the exceptional performance of Rafaela Mehta and Ava Azemi. Both Rafaela and Ava won 5 out of six of their chess games.
