EISM Swimming Carnival
Congratulations to the EISM swim team who competed at the Division 1 EISM Swimming Carnival on Monday 23 March. The day was filled with constant cheering and support of one another, as well as a showcase of some incredible talent, which allowed for Huntingtower to win the girls and boys aggregate trophies as well as secure victory as reigning champions! (For the 18th year in a row!)
We couldn’t be more proud of our swimmers for demonstrating not only amazing results, but more importantly, teamwork and school spirit. From individual personal bests, to relay victories, Huntingtower broke 4 out of the 6 records broken on the day and performed outstandingly overall. A testament to the dedication and hard work put into training throughout the term.
A special thank you to all the teachers who have supported us throughout the term and on the day, especially Ms Baynham and Ben for their behind the scenes work to help make the day successful, as well as Josh and Napier for supporting us at early morning trainings.
However, this achievement would not have been possible without each and every swimmer’s passion and contribution. A big congratulations to all of you, for giving it your all and showing true Huntingtower swimming spirit. We are incredibly proud to be part of a legacy of strong swimming success which is such a core part of Huntingtower, and know we will be summitting mountains, not hills for many, many years to come.

EISM Tennis Gala Day
The EISM Tennis Gala Day, held on Friday 13 March at the Glen Waverley Sports Hub, proved to be a fantastic day of competition, sportsmanship, and high-quality tennis. With 20 boys and 15 girls representing eight different EISM schools, the standard of play was impressive across the board.
Huntingtower was proudly represented by our two students, Irene and Goran, who both delivered outstanding performances against strong opposition.
Goran showcased excellent consistency and composure throughout the day, winning three of his four matches. His powerful and accurate serves, combined with smart shot selection and controlled baseline play, allowed him to stay competitive in every contest. He narrowly missed out on a place in the Grand Final after a tight sudden-death decider, highlighting just how close he came to progressing.
Irene was equally impressive, also winning three of her four matches. Demonstrating exceptional court coverage, she chased down every ball and showed great determination in long rallies. Her resilience and tactical awareness were evident, though she was ultimately defeated by the second seed in a hard-fought match.
Both students represented Huntingtower with pride, determination, and excellent sportsmanship throughout the day.
A special thank you to Danielle Jones, Huntingtower Tennis Coach, for her ongoing support, encouragement, and guidance in the lead-up to the event and her valued assistance on the day.
Congratulations to Irene and Goran on their fantastic efforts and achievements!

EISM Golf Gala Day
The EISM Golf Gala Day teed off in style on Friday 13 March, marking a fantastic inaugural event held at the Glen Waverley Sports Hub. Despite a light drizzle early in the day, conditions quickly improved, and the well-presented course provided an excellent setting for a memorable round of golf.
A total of 23 students competed across both team and individual stroke play categories, creating a strong and competitive field. With nine schools represented, the event showcased an elite level of competition, including several players with impressive handicaps as low as 1, highlighting the outstanding standard of play throughout the day.
Huntingtower was proudly represented by Toyesh and Nikolas, who both performed strongly against quality opposition. Toyesh delivered an excellent round to finish 4th overall, impressing with his accuracy off the tee, consistent fairway hitting, and ability to keep his scorecard tight. His control and course management were key strengths throughout the round.
Nikolas also produced a solid performance, finishing 11th for the day. He stood out in his group with his powerful drives, confident ball striking, and composed approach play, while also demonstrating excellent sportsmanship from the first tee to the final green.
Both students represented Huntingtower with pride, showcasing not only their golfing ability but also their respect for the game.
A sincere thank you to Mr Gameras for attending on the day and supporting the boys throughout the event.
The success of this inaugural event sets a strong foundation for future EISM Golf Gala Days.

Rowing Success
From the 13-15 March, I competed in the Head Of School Girls Regatta in Barwon, Geelong representing Huntingtower in the Year 10 single scull. Across three days and three races I made the beginner division finals and secured the 2nd place - a huge moment in my first year of rowing.
It was an honour to launch Huntingtower into the regatta world and I am already excited for future regattas. Huge thanks to Ms Baynham and Ben for their support and for custom-making my uniform. Huntingtower has officially hit the water!
