Student Representative Council (SRC)

At Oakleigh Grammar, we proudly recognise the dedication and commitment of our Student Representative Council (SRC) members. Meeting every fortnight, our SRC students contribute their time and ideas to meaningful discussions, working together to make our school an even better place for all. Their voices play a vital role in shaping school life, ensuring that student perspectives are heard and valued.

This commitment to student leadership was further highlighted recently when our Middle School Leaders represented Oakleigh Grammar at an important community event. On Wednesday 3 September, Oakleigh Grammar was honoured to be invited by the Clayton RSL Sub-Branch to attend the Australian National Flag Day Service. Held at the RSL Memorial & Remembrance Space on the corner of Carinish Road and Kanooka Grove in Clayton, this service commemorated our Australian National Flag and honoured the Service and Sacrifice of the soldiers, sailors and airmen who served under it.

The ceremony was a moving reminder of the many who have suffered and died defending Australia, its values and its freedoms. Representing Oakleigh Grammar with dignity, Paul Makris and Chrisanthy Psaras laid a wreath on behalf of our school community.

We are proud of our student leaders for their ongoing commitment, both within our school through the SRC and in the wider community through events such as this. Their involvement ensures that the values of respect, service, and responsibility continue to grow strongly within our school culture.
