Community Engagement

Backpacks 4 VIC Kids
On 16 September, our Year 6 students participated in the Backpacks 4 Vic Kids initiative, collecting essential items to support the construction of backpacks that will be distributed to children in need. These backpacks provide comfort and practical support to young people facing challenging circumstances, ensuring they have access to items many of us take for granted.
This initiative not only demonstrates our students’ compassion and generosity but also reflects our school’s ongoing commitment to service and community engagement. By contributing in this meaningful way, Year 6 students showed how even small acts of kindness can have a significant impact.
We congratulate our Year 6 cohort for their efforts and thank families for their support in helping to make a difference.
Community Project Exhibition
On 5 September, our Year 9 students proudly presented their Community Projects in the School Library. This showcase marks an important milestone in our IB MYP commitment, giving students the opportunity to inquire into issues they are passionate about, design solutions, and reflect on how they can make a positive impact within their communities.
The Community Project is also a powerful example of how our school exemplifies the Round Square IDEALS, particularly Service, as students explored meaningful ways to support others and contribute to a better world. Through their presentations, they demonstrated not only creativity and problem-solving but also resilience, teamwork, and responsibility.
Congratulations to all students for their impressive contributions and to the mentors for their ongoing encouragement and guidance throughout this journey.
