BOOKPLATE DESIGN AWARDS

For those children who were entered into this competition way back in term 1, I have an update:

The Trustees are determined that as soon as restrictions ease sufficiently that the judges are allowed to meet in person at The State Library of Victoria, judging of the Competition will occur.

Judges for the Competition will be:

Sasha Grishin is an Emeritus Professor at the Australian National University and works internationally as an art historian, art critic and curator.

Des Cowley is Rare Printed Collections Manager at The State Library of Victoria. Des is a senior librarian, curator, reviewer and has been involved in the judging of literary and art awards.

Leigh Hobbs is an artist and author. Leigh is best known for the humorous children's books he has written and illustrated, among them, Horrible Harriet and Old Tom. Leigh has produced artworks across a wide range of mediums.
