Communicating with the Specialist Team

As you may be aware, the LOTE curriculum arrangements for our school are:

• Foundation- Year One students: LOTE (Auslan) curriculum delivered by Mrs Amanda Oakley
• Year Two- Year Six students: LOTE (Japanese) curriculum delivered by Miss Michelle Lee

 Effective as of the commencement of this term, Miss Michelle Lee has resigned from her position as LOTE (Japanese) teacher at Upwey South Primary School. As a school, we are currently undertaking the process of recruiting for qualified and suitable LOTE teachers. More information will be shared with our community as is appropriate. 

During the recruitment period, the following interim arrangements are now in place:

• Foundation- Year One students: LOTE (Auslan) curriculum continues to be delivered by Mrs Amanda Oakley
• Year Two- Year Six students: LOTE (Japanese) curriculum delivered by externally sourced replacement teachers
