Athletics Championship at Casey  Fields

21 students represented Mornington Secondary College at the recent SMR Athletics championships at Casey Fields.

It was a very successful day with the following students placing in their events:

• Andrew Turver 1st place 1500m
• Charlie Robinson Cay 2nd discus, 3rd javelin 
• Milla Dooley 3rd hurdles
• Rory Wagner Watts 3rd 100m sprint
• Ollie Pratt 3rd 800m & 2nd 1500m 
• Riley Gunn 3rd 200m 
• Senior boys relay 3rd place

All students represented the school extremely well and had a fantastic day supporting each other in their events.

A big thanks to Mick and Josh for behind the scenes work and Vicki and student teacher Dan for all your support on the day!

Students played against Frankston High School in a closely contested match.

They all played extremely well but unfortunately the opposition were just too good on the day.
