Victorian High Ability Program

Victorian High Ability Program Masterclass for Maths: Melbourne Zoo 

Mornington Secondary College's, Victorian High Ability Program, students took part in a Maths Masterclass and STEM program at the Melbourne Zoo this month.

Students joined Melbourne Zoo staff for a STEM program talk and activity. This was followed by the students being able to observe the Fibonacci Sequence and patterns in nature and using Graph Theory to plan the most efficient and elegant paths around a small section of the zoo. 

The students thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and we thank everyone who helped organised this fantastic experience.
