Hello everyone,

With Term 2 now underway we as parents and caregivers will no doubt get busy supporting our children at school, running them to sporting events, work and all the other distractions of everyday life.

Family Connect serves one purpose and that is to simply serve; which we can only do through your voice. This is your committee, your voice and your connection. Come along and engage, you are welcome.

All that we ask is your thoughts and ideas to make your child’s journey while at the College a better one.

To date we have received four applications for funding which will be actioned at our next meeting, Students and College staff are encouraged to contact us at smw.familyconnect@cns.catholic.edu.au if you are seeking financial support from Family Connect in 2022.

Members of the Committee and interested parents will be supporting the College’s Open Night on Thursday 12th May so if you are at the College, we will be manning a table near the cafe on the evening, drop by and say hello!

The big news is our first Parent Engagement night will be held on Tuesday 17th May at the College and the theme will be ‘Pastoral Offerings’ with Alison Krause, Assistant Principal Junior Secondary and Douglas Belton, Assistant Principal Senior Secondary.

These evening are always informative and a great way to mix with other parents and caregivers.

Our next Family Connect meeting will be on Tuesday 24th May 2022 in the College Library at 5.15pm.
