Performing Arts

A warm welcome to our students returning for Term 3! Here is what is happening in the Performing Arts co-curricular program in the weeks ahead.

Creative Music in Schools

Lessons resume this week, and places are still available for students wanting to learn piano, violin, singing, guitars (acoustic, electric, and bass) and drums. See your Music or Drama teacher to collect an information brochure, or come to the Performing Arts Office at Recess or Lunch.

Drama Club and Senior Rock Band

Parts have been cast and scripts distributed for members of Drama Club. Senior Rock Band have finalised their song choices. Both groups will have meetings this week, starting rehearsals in earnest next week. 

Marian Choir United, Play Ukelele, and Concert Band

All other ensembles re-commence rehearsals next week.

Performance dates for the semester are being finalised - watch this space in the next edition of the Marian News for an update.
