ACC INTERSCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY CARNIVAL

Unlike the damp weather last year, this year there was not a raincloud in sight for our Associated and Catholic Colleges of WA (ACC) Interschool Cross Country Carnival held today at Alderbury Reserve.

The Senior School students who competed as part of the ASC Interschool Cross Country Squad performed exceptionally well at the event, with many personal best times and individual achievements. Special mention to Noah Dean (Year 7) who came first place in the Under 13 Boys age group; competing against more than 300 students!

Well done to all our students and staff who attended the carnival today, and those who helped the team prepare in the lead up to the event.

ACC CROSS COUNTRY TRAINING DAY

On Monday, 27 May Year 7, 9 and 10 students who are part of the ACC Cross Country Squad attended the ACC Cross Country Training Day at Alderbury Reserve during Periods 1 and 2. The students practised starts and completed the whole course in preparation for the ACC Cross Country Carnival which took place today. It was an invaluable experience for all students involved, particularly for those that had never competed at this course before.

SCHOOL SPORT WA (SSWA) CHAMPIONSHIPS

SSWA Netball - Years 7-10

On Wednesday, 8 May All Saints’ College entered five teams in the SSWA Netball Championships. We participated in the South Metro division and all students gained valuable experience from taking part on the day. Congratulations to the Year 7/8 A team who went through the day undefeated – an excellent achievement. The team will progress to the elimination rounds later in the year. Thank you to Miss Britt Gray and Ms Kirby Stephen who coordinated all teams on the day. It was also great to see parents and Old Saints involved in the day.

SSWA Volleyball - Year 10

A Girls and a Boys Year 10 team represented All Saints’ College at the SSWA Volleyball Championships at Warwick Stadium on Friday, 10 May. Both teams were competing against students from Years 10–12, many of whom came from Volleyball specialist schools. Congratulations to both teams who applied themselves extremely well and were great ambassadors for the College. The Girls' team lost a close grand final whilst the Boys' team finished third. Thank you to Mr Josh Coleman and Old Saint Marcus Radford (2013) who assisted on the day.

ACC BOYS BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

A huge congratulations to our Year 11-12 ACC Basketball Team for making the Semi Final of the inaugural ACC Basketball Championships. The team defeated Kolbe Catholic College in overtime in Round 16 then, after being 17 points down at half time, were victorious over CBC in a nail-biting game. Unfortunately, they just came up short in the Semi Final, which was held at Curtin Basketball Stadium. Thank you to all players for an outstanding season and to their coaches, Mr Steve Tsocas and Mr Zac Watkinson.
