YEAR 11 AND 12 SEMESTER 1 EXAMINATIONS

The Semester 1 examinations for Year 11 and 12 are well underway and conclude on Monday, 10 June.

The Year 11 and 12 examination process is strictly guided by the expectations of the School Standards and Curriculum Authority. There is no place for individual requests for changes to the examination times and processes. If a student misses an examination due to illness, they must notify Ms Hill at the College on or before the morning/afternoon of the examination. Medical documentation must be provided as soon as possible; this does not however ensure an alternate examination time, as the integrity of the examination could be compromised.

As per the School Standards and Curriculum Authority procedure, students suffering temporary illness or misadventure during the examination period are encouraged to sit the examination at the correct time if possible, provided this is not against medical advice.

Please email any communication relating to the Year 11 and 12 examinations to Ms Esther Hill (Director of Djoowak: The Beyond Boundaries Institute): esther.hill@allsaints.wa.edu.au

YEAR 10 SEMESTER 1 EXAMINATIONS

The Year 10 examinations take place on Friday, 7 and Monday, 10 June for selected subjects.

YEARS 8 AND 9 CURRICULUM INFORMATION EVENING FOR PARENTS AND STUDENTS

Our 2020 Timetable will provide greater flexibility for students to personalise their programs. There are a number of new opportunities for students in this process which we look forward to sharing with you at our Information Night to be held on Tuesday, 4 June at 6.00pm in the Centre for Performing Arts.

Given that these programs are new, we are anticipating that there may be an increased demand for seats with families keen to attend. With this in mind, we are asking that families book their seats and bring along their tickets. Click HERE to book tickets.

If the event is over-subscribed, we will offer a second session at 7.00pm and will send out a further link to families at the end of the week if this is needed.

YEAR 11 THREE-WAY INTERVIEWS

Our Year 11 Three-Way Interviews are to be held on Tuesday, 18 June from 4.00pm to 8.00pm in the Centre for Performing Arts and are part of the suite of opportunities for ongoing feedback and reporting that we offer to families.

Three-Way Interviews provide a forum for student, teacher and parents to discuss and review progress and map out a plan to meet our students’ learning goals. It is important, therefore, that students attend their interviews.

Correspondence will be sent on Tuesday, 4 June where you will receive details on how to book interview time slots.

Further correspondence will be sent in due course.

NAPLAN 2019

Following the NAPLAN Online Testing that was completed in Week 3, Week 5 sees the end of the NAPLAN re-sit process using paper tests. This was designed to accommodate students who felt they encountered substantial technical disruption that significantly affected their performance during the NAPLAN Online Tests. The re-sit window is now closed, and results will be made available later this year.
