SOCCER PLAYER HEADED TO SINGAPORE

 

All Saints' College congratulates Year 9 student and soccer player Ava Hayes, who has been selected for the WA Country Girls Under 16s Soccer Team by Football West. The team will travel to Singapore in November to compete in the Singapore International Youth Cup. We look forward to following-up on Ava's experience later in the year.

KARATE CHAMPIONS HEADING TO AUSTRALIAN TRAINING CAMP

Congratulations to Hugh McGuire (Year 10) and Blake Skewes (Year 10) who have both been selected for a training and selection camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra this weekend.

 

The students were selected after competing at the Australian Karate Federation 2019 Australian Open. Blake won Gold in his weight category and Bronze in the Kumite Individual Male Cadets Open. Hugh competed in a division above his age group and scored a Bronze medal.

 

The AIS Cadet Junior U21 camp is also an opportunity for the students to be selected for the 2019 XI World Karate Championships (Junior, Cadet and U21) in Chile this October. There are only two places available and we wish Blake and Hugh the best of luck!

STUDENTS PERFORM WITH WA YOUTH ORCHESTRA

Congratulations to Liam O'Keefe (Year 8) and Vevina Yang (Year 9) who performed as members of the WA Youth Orchestra on Saturday, 25 May. This was WAYO's first concert of the year, with two more upcoming concerts in July and September.
