Auslan Update

It has been a fantastic start to Auslan this term! Students from Prep to Year 6 have thoroughly enjoyed their introduction to Auslan and have embraced learning a new language with enthusiasm.

Over the past few weeks, students have been busy learning the Auslan alphabet (fingerspelling) and practising everyday phrases such as "How are you?" and "My name is...". They have loved using their new skills to communicate with their classmates and are growing in confidence each lesson.

It has been wonderful to see how well all students have taken to learning Auslan. Their excitement, participation and willingness to have a go have made for a very positive start. I look forward to seeing their Auslan skills continue to grow throughout the year!
