Student Leadership

Term 4 is here, and the Student Leadership Council has a busy term ahead. We welcome a new group of Student Leaders who have already begun making their mark on the Camden High community.  

This term we have the following events happening: 

• Remembrance Day (Tuesday, Week 5)  

• International Men's Day (Wednesday, Week 6) 

There are only 8 weeks until Christmas, and it’s time to get festive! School Captain Jye and SLC are teaming up with Ready to Learn staff to bring the festive cheer and raise funds for our local community. Be sure to listen out for more information soon.   

We celebrated World Teacher Day and were amazed to see students acknowledge and thank their favourite teachers. Some of the messages were beautiful and brought joy to recipients. Thank you Camden High!  

A changeover in House Point leaders has occurred with Freeman overtaking long-standing leader, Alcott. Hundreds of house points have been awarded for students displaying good work ethic, positive behaviours, and displaying school spirit. It’s important to acknowledge the our current point leaders for each house:  

• Barty – Matilda A, Josh M, Khaled A, Andy A, and Liliana R 

• Alcott – Theodore B, Zachariah B, Amelia S, Mia B, and Bobby X 

• Freeman – Mia R, Matthew D, April F, Tatum D, and Patrick M  

• Mills – Eliza C, Carla C, Ryan C, Alexis T, and Madeline O
