Camden High P&C November Update
The Camden P&C November meeting had head teacher of PDHPE, Justin Garland, tell the group about the faculty and classes, including some proposed changes that will support students transitioning into Stage 6. As all students do PDHPE up until Year 10, and PASS being one of the most popular electives at Camden HS, it was helpful to know more about these class structures and future course pathways for the students.
Each P&C meeting (except the AGM) will have a different faculty present. Watch out for these updates and come along to hear how different faculties support the students of Camden HS.
This month there was further discussion on elective choices for students and some easy ways the P&C can raise some money for the school. If you have access or ideas to any prizes the P&C could use for an end-of-year Christmas raffle, please reach out to the group.
P&C meetings for 2026 will alternate between online and face-to-face, with the first meeting of the term to be online (links to be provided in the week before the meeting) and the second meeting to be face-to-face in the school library. It is hoped that this greater flexibility will help more families join the meetings, hear the presentations and ask any questions.
Meeting times and dates:
The P&C meet week 4 and 9 of each term at 6.30pm, alternating between online meetings and the school library. Parking is in the staff car park for face-to-face meetings.
Upcoming meeting dates:
The last meeting of the term is a social get together. Location TBA via social media.
Come along and meet some of the P&C and ask what it is all about on Tuesday 9 December at 6.30pm.
