Academic Excellence Program

During Term 1, our Academic Excellence students have actively engaged in excursions, after school programs and lunchtime activities designed to encourage and sustain their extension in various curriculum areas. A highlight from our Academic Excellence students this term has been the Social Justice Tour, which provided an excellent opportunity to discover the diverse historical landmarks in the city and the figures who have contributed to shaping modern Melbourne. The Year 7 students were excellent on this excursion, fully engaging in the activities organised by our guide and reflecting on the experiences in their journals.

Experiences like these encourage our Academic Excellence students to think critically about the world around them, enhancing their problem-solving skills and deepening their understanding. With even more opportunities ahead in Term Two, these young minds will continue to be challenged and inspired to grow.
