Student Voice and Agency
Mr Massouris & Ms Carr
At Cranbourne Secondary College, we value student voice and agency, and this term, our student leaders have demonstrated just how powerful their contributions can be.
Throughout the term, they have worked collaboratively, receiving training to set goals in their respective fields and develop the skills needed to make a meaningful impact.
Training days at the GRIP Leadership Conference and with Himal Pilay strengthened their ability to lead effectively, fostering teamwork and a shared vision for the school.
This dedicated group has already achieved so much. They played a key role in introducing our two new Year 7 leaders, organised events for the Swimming Carnival, and contributed to the Boba Tea event for Multipride students. They also worked together to plan activities for Athletics Day and played a vital role in the success of our School Information Evening.
Beyond events, these students have taken the lead in whole-school assemblies and year-level meetings, providing a strong student presence in shaping our school culture. Their influence has also extended to planning significant milestone events such as the Senior Dance and Valedictory Dinner.
Despite limited meeting time, these students have been instrumental in coordinating various aspects of school life. It is truly inspiring to see such a diverse and committed team embody our school values of Care, Learning, Community, and Contribution.
