Key Dates for 3/4 students and families

• (Week 9) - 7th of September - Footy Colours Day
• (Week 10) - 16th - 18th of September - Grade 3/4 Camp

Reminders

Friday 30th October (Term Four) will be our annual ‘Be Awesome Day’! The 3/4's would love donations of some of the following items:

• Individually wrapped chocolates or multipacks
• Individually wrapped lollies
• Blocks of chocolate (x7)
• Hair Spray
• Plastic stencils for hairspray

Hats - Please support your child in locating their labelled school hat, as hats are now required for the remainder of the school year. Thank you for your support in keeping our students sun-smart. 

What we have been up to  

Upcoming Learning

Over the next fortnight we will be:  

• Continuing to showcase our understanding of Australia’s early history through the development of creative dioramas and informative posters. 
• Using mentor texts to learn how authors include historical facts and storytelling techniques to engage their readers. 
• Implementing TIP TOP paragraphs and VCOP to make our writing interesting, and getting inspired by our recent visiting author Chris Kennett to create engaging stories.
• Increasing our understanding of location and transformation through some camp mapping. 
• Exploring how to make and accept apologies as part of our Respectful Relationships unit, Positive Coping.
• Talking about 'all things camp', as we near closer to our special event.
