Lyndon Williams Sports Pathway Scholarship

The Lyndon Williams Sports Pathway Scholarship is an annual award that was set up in memory of a young man and former PE teacher at CESC - Lyndon Williams, who sadly passed away in 2016. 

Along with this scholarship, the college continues to acknowledge and pay tribute to Lyndon for his contribution to the CESC community through an annual staff versus student soccer match and commemorative garden. 

In conjunction with Lyndon's parents - Mary and Blair - the school wished to develop an award that would celebrate not only excellence in sport, but also those personal qualities that Lyndon displayed. Qualities such as friendship, a sense of fair play, teamwork and resilience.

2025 Sports Team of the Year 

Our 2025 Sports Team of the Year award goes to our best performing Inter School Sports team. This year that tesam has been our Year 7 Boys Badminton Team. 

Throughout the year, these students have shown fantastic teamwork, dedication and sportsmanship. They were in the gym most mornings before school, training together and their hard work eventually paid off, remaining unbeaten through division and regionals, along with competing at the Victoria State Championships later this year. 

Congratulations on an incredible achievement, and we can't wait to see what this team accomplish together in 2026.
