2025 College House Review

As we wrap up 2025, we celebrate an incredible year of school spirit, teamwork, and determination! After months of earning points through effort, pride, and participation, we are thrilled to announce our 2025 House Points champions....Parkes House, finishing on an outstanding 492,845 points! 🏆

Congratulations to every Parkes student and staff member for their commitment, enthusiasm, and house pride. What a fantastic way to close out the year — well done, Parkes!

The House system has long been an integral part of our school community, fostering camaraderie, friendly competition and school pride. Throughout 2025, our House competitions have brought out the very best in each of us, from the Sporting Carnivals, artistic performances, to cultural events. 

The energy and passion on the day of each carnival and event were truly remarkable. It is this spirit that makes our school community so special. Deakin House dominated the Cross Country and Athletics Carnival for 2025.

A huge thank you to our House Leaders and Captains, who have shown exceptional leadership this year, especially by creating the brand new House podcast, which is soon to be released. Your role in guiding your houses, motivating your peers and setting an example has been invaluable. Your hard work and enthusiasm have been a driving force behind your house's success, and we commend you for your dedication and commitment. 

To the teachers and staff who support the House system, your encouragement and organisation make these events possible. You inspire our students to push their limits, embrace challenges and reach their full potential.

To the parents, thank you for your support. Whether it's cheering on your child during a competition or simply encouraging them to give their best, your involvement makes a huge difference in the success of each house.

And to every student, no matter where your house stands on the leader-board, remember that your contribution has been vital. Your participation, your enthusiasm, and your effort are what make this community so special. Whether it's the effort you put into House debates, the spirit you show during House sports or the creativity you bring to every event, you have helped build a positive and dynamic environment for all to enjoy.
