Assistant Principal's Report

This week’s e-safe topic: Child grooming and unwanted contact

Socialising online can be a great way for children to build friendships, but it can also put them at risk. This page is for parents and carers.

It covers:

What is grooming?

What is online sexual abuse?

How to deal with unwanted contact

How does online grooming happen?

How can I protect my child?

What do I do if something goes wrong, including how to report it.

The Reporting Package

Semester 1 Reports will be released via Compass on Thursday, 27th June. Our formal 'reporting package' at SGPS comprises of this Semester Report, the eight Learning Tasks released throughout the semester and the Parent Teacher Conference in early Term 3.

Lunch Orders

As indicated in the message to families last week, Fresh Five have informed us that they have sold their business. We are looking into options to continue the lunch order service over the next period of time and will provide an update to the SGPS community in early Term 3.

Netbooks

Families of Grade 3-6 students, please note that netbooks will not go home over the holiday break. They will be stored securely at school.
