SUSTAINABILITY

♻️ Soft Plastics, Small Changes, Big Impact
Soft plastic creates a huge amount of landfill and has a serious impact on our environment. Items such as chip packets, plastic wrappers, and food packaging don’t break down easily.
Instead, they build up in landfill, pollute ecosystems, and harm wildlife and marine animals.
At school, we are encouraging the practise of “carry in, carry out” with our lunchboxes. This means any soft plastics that come to school can go back home for proper recycling. Families can recycle soft plastics at their local Woolworths store through the in-store soft plastics collection points.
By making the choice to recycle soft plastics at home, we can reduce landfill, protect our ecosystems, and create a cleaner, healthier world for our children, and for their children in the future.
Every wrapper recycled is a step towards positive change. 🌏
