Sustainable snapshot

As part of National Recycling Week, this November, the City of Casey will be hosting a textile and E-Waste drop off day. This is a perfect way to recycle unwanted textiles (clothing, linens, shoes) that are not good enough for op shop donation.

At Hillsmeade I have noticed a significant amount of food ending up in our landfill bins. This is not isolated to Hillsmeade, food waste is a global problem and contributes greatly to climate change.
