Textile and E-Waste recycling drop off day
As part of National Recycling Week, this November, the City of Casey will be hosting a textile and E-Waste drop off day. This is a perfect way to recycle unwanted textiles (clothing, linens, shoes) that are not good enough for op shop donation.
Saturday November 23rd - 9am to 2pm. Bookings essential via the QR code below.
Food waste - a global problem
At Hillsmeade I have noticed a significant amount of food ending up in our landfill bins. This is not isolated to Hillsmeade, food waste is a global problem and contributes greatly to climate change.
Oz Harvest has compiled some facts about food waste that you may find quite surprising, the good news is you have the chance to change the stats!
