Congratulations on completing the 2025 Victorian Premiers’ Reading Challenge!
This deserves a celebration – you’ve been part of the Challenge’s 20th birthday and joined generations of young Victorians in sharing your love for reading.
Across our state, more than 76,237 children and students completed the Challenge, and together, 3,092,257 books were read.
No matter how many books you read this year, I’m incredibly proud, and you should be too.
I hope you discovered some fantastic new favourite books, and you’ve enjoyed reading together.

Year 7 2026 Accelerated and Enhancement Program Entrance Testing
Last week, we welcomed an enthusiastic group of candidates who sat the entrance assessments for our Year 7 2026 Accelerated and Enhancement Program. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and just a touch of nerves as students arrived ready to take on the challenge and showcase their skills.
Throughout the day, students demonstrated great focus, determination, and a genuine passion for learning. They were well prepared for the series of assessments and approached each task with enthusiasm and confidence. When asked about their experience, candidates shared: “When you hear the 10-minute warning, you get nervous, but I’m feeling okay about them.” – Ivanka Tyapkin.

We congratulate all participating students for their effort and positive attitude, and we look forward to welcoming our successful applicants into the 2026 Accelerated and Enhancement Program next year.
