2025 VCE Legal Studies – Edrolo StudyFest
On Sunday 12 October 2025, students from both Units 1&2 and 3&4 Legal Studies attended the Edrolo StudyFest at Monah College in Docklands. For the Units 1&2 students, this helped prepare them for what’s ahead next year. For the Units 3&4 students, this helped them prepare them for the impending exam!
The event consisted of in-person, expert-led exam masterclasses, with every student attended receiving tailored study notes and exclusive merch. There were interactive sessions and person Q&A sessions with the Edrolo presenters – students getting to meet the people they have watched on Edrolo all year on their laptops.
An all day PD for VCE teachers was held simultaneously, providing a wonderful learning opportunity and lots of inspiration to continually improve our program into the future, including more meaningful imbedding of First Nations perspectives, effective and innovative use of AI, building stronger relationships with students, engagement strategies and neuroscience techniques for learning.
Congratulations and well done to the students, showing dedication to their studies by attending this event on a Sunday! I’m sure this commitment to your studies will be evident in your performance and success in Legal Studies.

On the final day of term 3, year 11 students Jack Wright and Hiro Hajinikitas represented the College at the Victorian EVATT competition Grand Final. The boys acted as the delegates for Greece and performed incredibly well.
The students had to progress through multiple rounds to qualify, beating out other schools in our region to be invited to the Grand Final, which has held at Parliament House in the CBD. Students debated 3 resolutions in the chambers of state parliament across the day long event.
A massive achievement and congratulations to both students. Congratulations also to Owen Maisey (Year 9) and Alex Robertson (Year 10) who competed in earlier rounds.
