It’s That Time Again… The Season of the Mo!
The sun is shining, Term 4 is in full swing, and that can only mean one thing. It’s Moustache Season. It’s that glorious time of year when upper lips tingle with anticipation and three brave staff members, Mr Spilsted, Mr Sparrey, and Mr Condon, unite under one noble and slightly itchy cause: Movember.
For ten years now, the Woodend Mo Bros have proudly supported the Movember Foundation, raising awareness and much-needed funds for men’s mental health and the fight against prostate and testicular cancer. Over the decade, these determined gents have raised more than $10,000 in their quest to grow the most magnificent moustaches Woodend Primary has ever seen.
Each year, the Mo Bros begin with enthusiasm and optimism, and by week two, they are sporting patchy works of art that could best be described as bold attempts. However, every whisker counts, because each dollar raised helps support men’s health initiatives that truly make a difference.
Throughout November, please remember to remind the men in your life to take care of their physical and mental well-being.
