Mangoes
Thank you so much to everyone that purchased mangoes. We were able to raise over $400 for the school! Mangoes will be delivered the week commencing the 8th of December, with the exact date being confirmed the week prior.
Christmas raffle
It’s that time of year again, Christmas raffle time!! Our amazing hampers are ready to go, and we would love it if families could purchase raffle tickets to continue to support our wonderful school community. Tickets can be purchased off Qkr! For $2 each of 3 for $5. Sales for the raffle close on the 14th of December and the hampers will be handed out at the final assembly of the year. You have to be in it to win it so jump on Qkr! And get those tickets!
What a great cake stall!
A huge thanks to everyone who baked and bought treats for our cake stall last week. We had sooo much deliciousness, and as always we were overrun with hungry kids at 3.31. It was so great to see all the shining eyes waiting to buy their favourites! We are delighted to announce that we raised a grand total of $1,004, which will go towards the school projects being supported by the PFA next year, including a roof for the bike store - something the kids have been asking for.
Carlsruhe Fair 2026
The Carlsruhe Fair will be happening on Saturday November 14th, 2026, and will be coordinated by a terrific team of four parents who have stepped up as joint coordinators. Thank you, team! Keep your eye out later in the year for a callout for parents keen to join the committee and help out.
PFA vacancies
As you can imagine, we here at the PFA absolutely love welcoming new members, and next year is the perfect opportunity to join. In 2026 we are seeking a new PFA President and PFA Secretary. If you are interested in either of these roles, or simply just being a member of the PFA, we would love for you to join our first meeting of 2026. We will send out details at the start of next year but in the meantime, please consider coming along and joining our wonderful association.
WPS Parents and Friends Association (PFA) monthly meetingWe would love to welcome you to our Parents and Friends group. We are a friendly bunch of parents who meet monthly to arrange school fundraising activities and social events.
Please consider joining us in 2026. We meet on Tuesday evenings once a month; keep an eye on the newsletter for details of our first meeting in term 1, and come along and help us plan some fantastic events for the new school year. The only thing you need is a willingness to help out our school community.
