The Music Department has enjoyed a productive and rewarding term, highlighted by a number of outstanding performances and community engagements.

The highlight of the term was undoubtedly Groovin at the Austrian Club, held on Thursday, 28 May. The event was exceptionally well attended, with all seated tickets sold out prior to the evening. Due to the overwhelming support from families and the wider community, standing-room tickets were also purchased on the night. The concert showcased the talent, dedication, and hard work of our student musicians and provided a wonderful opportunity for them to perform in front of a large and enthusiastic audience.

We are pleased to announce that the event raised an impressive $2,777, which will be ensure that our students continue to have access to quality resources for their learning and performance activities.

In addition to this major event, our students have represented the school with pride at several community performances throughout the term. Music ensembles performed at the newly renovated Rosanna Library, helping celebrate this exciting community facility, and also entertained residents at a local aged care facility. These performances were warmly received and provided valuable opportunities for students to share their musical talents while making meaningful connections within the community.

We congratulate all students involved in these performances and thank our staff, families, and supporters for their continued encouragement of the Music Program. We look forward to another exciting term of music-making and performance opportunities ahead.
