STUDENTS OF THE WEEK

Hello Families of Grade 3!

We have had an incredible start to Term 4, introducing so many exciting things and consolidating our learning from the past 3 terms.

In Numeracy, we have been focused on learning about Capacity and Mass, measuring in millilitres (mL) and litres (L), and weighing classroom objects in grams (g) and kilograms (kg).

In Reading, we have loved learning about poetry, and have started to create our own decoding goals to focus on while we read.

In Writing, we are becoming experts in how to write Procedural texts, even helping our teachers make fairy bread! 

In Inquiry, we’re discovering more about Australia and our neighbouring countries, learning about how to ask deeper questions and how we can find those answers out too. 

We’ve even had an incredible opportunity to meet a wonderful author/actress/broadway star, Penny McNamee who taught us about how we can become anything we want, as long as we work hard for our goals.
