Welcome to The Ivy Voice!

Hello and welcome back to the 15th Edition of the Ivy Voice. We hope that everyone has been enjoying Term 1 so far and staying on top of all their schoolwork. We would like to thank our Ivanhoe Community for the overwhelming support that we received from last edition and hope that we as the Ivy Voice team can continue to encapsulate ‘the life of an Ivanhoe Grammar School Student’. As we look toward the bright future ahead, the Ivy Voice team have an exciting announcement to share.
It had been both a privilege and a pleasure to have taken over the Ivy Voice and build on the tireless work of the editors who came before us. We are both immensely proud and grateful for the support we have received from the Ivanhoe Community, especially the teachers who supported us from Year 10 and helped us to make the Ivy Voice a platform for all Ivanhoe Grammar Students to read and enjoy. Ms Thorpe and Ms Brown have truly been an integral part of the Ivy Voice journey and we are both very grateful for the encouragement and support they have given us. Whilst we will still endeavour to be highly involved in the Ivy Voice program, we will both be stepping down as Co-executives of the IDEALS stream as we enter the thick of our Year 12 IB Journey. We are proud to announce that Liz Tan and Alice Waite will become the new Co-Chief Editors of the Ivy Voice and we wish them nothing but the best.

We would like to acknowledge the founding Chief Editors of the Ivy Voice, Harriet Thorpe and Emilie Mckenna (2020) and past leaders who have contributed to the initiative that is the Ivy Voice. Their innovation and creativity founded this platform as an outlet for sharing student voice, which we hope to continue to build.
