Health and Physical Education Week

Is anyone else exhausted after that jammed packed HPE week or is it just me?!?!? This year the HPE team worked hard to give loads of students the opportunity to get active and moving!
Starting at Year 7, we had a mammoth whole year tug of war competition! This was in place of the colour run which has been postponed due to weather concerns. A fantastic effort from all the homegroups and a massive congrats to 7A for taking out the title of strongest homegroup!
Year 8’s set out to Epping YMCA for an epic day of sports, from Beach Volleyball to Handball, Hockey and Futsal, students played their hearts out and had a blast. Also hats off to all this year level who were praised by the YMCA staff as one of the best groups they have had!
The Year 9’s got amongst it with a 3 V 3 Basketball comp. The crowds were huge supporting their peers, who put on an epic display of skill. Big congrats to Scarlett, Chloe, Marley, Bella and Holly for taking out the Girls Final and to Tyler, Luke, Elvis and Austin for their victory in the Boys final.
Year 10’s had a fun outing, with half the year level heading to bounce while the others went bowling. A nice little midweek break to get the vibes high while enjoying some fun leisure activities with their classmates.
Rounding off the week was the annual Senior Futsal World Cup. Skills were smooth, crowds were roaring and Mr Nasser’s Yellow Card was getting a workout as Greece took home the gold and bragging rights, with a 5-1 victory over England. Well done to Noah, Ben, Aiden, Thomas, Mila, Raajni and Caleb
Thank you to everyone for making this week such an event! Now time to recoup as we get ready for HPE week 2026!
