What's on for Term 2

Exciting news! Bendigo Illustrator, Chris Kennett, will be visiting our school on Wednesday 20th May. During his time, Chris will have sessions with students talking and drawing then together they will create a masterpiece!

National Simultaneous Storytime

On Wednesday 27th May at 12pm, students will take part in National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS), joining schools across Australia and New Zealand to enjoy a shared reading of Luna Roo. Last year we participated and read Truck Cat alongside over 16,000 other locations and over 1,000,000 students.

Overdue Books

Overdue notices will be sent home this week. Please take some time over the holidays to search for any missing books. Currently there are over 120 overdue books at the cost of over $2000. Support in reducing these numbers is appreciated, allowing funds to be used for purchasing new titles rather than replacing missing texts.

Book Week

Book Week is in Term 3 with the theme of Symphony of Stories. We will be celebrating with a parade, The Blurbs and Book Week activities. More details to follow as we get closer to the date.
