Grade 1

Grade 1 - 2026
It’s been a busy and positive start to Grade 1! Students have made great progress and we look forward to their continued growth throughout the year.
In Literacy, students have been consolidating letter–sound knowledge and developing their ability to independently write simple sentences with correct structure.
In Maths, they have been exploring number, ABC patterns and are beginning to learn about measurement.
Students have enjoyed learning to use laptops, practising logging in and out, and in and out🤣, exploring programs such as Word and Google, and building their typing skills. In History, they’ve had fun learning about childhoods and are excited to share their baby photos in Week 9.
