Library News

Both libraries have been buzzing with activity in the lead-up to the end of the year. At the Kildare Campus, students have been engaging with the Library through their Reading Room classes and learning more about how to use its resources effectively during library instruction sessions. Kildare students are also enjoying spending time in the Library at lunchtimes, making the most of its facilities. New books continue to arrive regularly and are being added to the shelves for students to explore. 

At the Brigidine Campus, students have been making great use of the Library as a quiet space for exam preparation, as well as a welcoming place to meet before school, at recess, and during lunchtimes. Dictionaries and calculators have been in high demand! Recent additions to the Library include a diverse range of biographies of famous and inspiring individuals in fields such as space travel, zoology, presenting, medicine, AFLW and other sports, human interest, and science. These titles can be found in the “True Stories” section of the Library and on display. We’ve also added a selection of new books focusing on study skills, literary analysis, and exam preparation - perfect for students looking to boost their learning. 

Recent Library displays have featured themes such as study skills, the Great Aussie Bird Count, Science Week and International Space Week.
