2025 Year 9 2025 MacBook Program – What You Need to Know

If you’d like to buy your school MacBook, simply select ‘Accept’ on the Compass Parent Portal and make payment of $500 before November 24. This will allow IT to better facilitate the handover process by knowing which devices are to wiped and returned and those simply collected. 

If you don’t wish to buy it, please select ‘Decline’ and return your laptop and charger to the IT Department. Once purchased, the laptop and charger are yours to keep. 

Before you leave St Joseph’s College Echuca, your laptop will be wiped and reset to its original settings, ready for personal use. Please remember to back up and remove any personal files or apps before returning it to IT — all data will be cleared during the reset.

Devices are sold as they are, and the College won’t be able to provide repairs or after-sales service once the sale is complete. If you have any questions, the IT Help Desk or College Office will be happy to assist.
