Real Industry Job Interviews
Last week our Year 9 students stepped into the world of work through the Real Industry Job Interviews (RIJIs) as part of the Echuca Moama Beacon Foundation’s Real Futures Program.
Students prepared their own resumes and cover letters, then put their skills to the test in professional-style interviews with volunteers from local businesses across Echuca and Moama.
It was an invaluable experience — building confidence, refining communication skills, and offering a real taste of what it’s like to apply for a job in the real world.
A huge thank you to the Beacon Foundation and to all the following local employers who gave their time and expertise to support our students.

Year 9 TAFE Excursion
On Tuesday, a group of students attended the Bendigo TAFE Echuca Campus for a Taster Day as part of the Build 10 program. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to explore a range of hands-on trade activities, including painting, concreting, bricklaying, and carpentry. The experience provided valuable insight into different trade pathways and helped students develop practical skills while learning more about potential future careers.
