Principal's Report

As Years 9 -11 head into the next few weeks of the term, our focus turns to exams - a time to showcase the hard work, growth, and learning that have taken place throughout the year. This is a key moment for every student to set goals, stay focused and finish strong.

Exams can feel stressful, but they’re also an opportunity. They give you a chance to see how far you’ve come, to challenge yourself, and to build resilience for the future. Remember, success doesn’t come from last-minute cramming - it comes from consistent effort, effective study habits, and taking care of yourself along the way. Our Year 12 students have led the way, with their English exam taking place on Tuesday - they were in bright and early - ready to shine.

To our families, thank you for the encouragement and understanding you offer your children at these times. Your support helps our students stay motivated and confident.

And to our staff - thank you for your continued commitment to helping our students succeed, both academically, personally and spiritually.

Congratulations to all students and staff who were involved with last week’s St Joes on Show and the Spectacle of Dreams, both of these evenings were showcases of student gifts and talents. Our students certainly need to be commended on their work, their willingness to take risks and to be brave in their performances in front of their peers, families and wider community was outstanding.

And in the biggest news of all we are thrilled to announce the commencement of the next stage of works at Kildare Campus, and elated that the original plan has been expanded to include additional facilities.

These new facilities will allow us to continue providing the very best educational opportunities that our students deserve. It’s a very exciting time for everyone connected to St Joseph’s — our students, staff and families alike. As we approach our 140th anniversary next year, there’s a strong sense of pride in how far we’ve come, and an even greater sense of excitement for what’s ahead.

God Bless.
