Beechworth Excursion
What an amazing experience for our young entrepreneurs!
Last week, our Year 9 Amplify students travelled to Beechworth Old Gaol to take part in a Social Enterprise Market Day, trading alongside other schools from across the region.
Our students were incredible, confidently introducing their products, sharing their stories, and explaining the inspiration behind their chosen charities.
This hands-on experience was a fantastic opportunity for them to bring their ideas to life, connect with the community, and see the impact of their hard work.
We couldn’t be prouder of their creativity, teamwork and entrepreneurial spirit!
Practice Market Days
Our Year 9 students have been busy bringing their business ideas to life through the Amplify Program, in partnership with ACRE (Australian Centre for Rural Entrepreneurship).
After pitching their ideas to the 'Sharks' last term, students recently held their Practice Market Days, testing their products and refining their sales skills - and now they’re ready for the big event!
Big Market Days
Monday 10 November (9F - 9J) & Wednesday 12 November (9A - 9E)
The Market Day will host visiting students and staff from Vivid, Cunningham Downs, East Primary School, St Mary’s and 208 Primary School.
Parents and community members between are invited to join us from 11:30am - 12:30pm.
Come along to browse a range of handmade products (perfect for Christmas gifts ), support our young entrepreneurs, and help raise funds for five great charities supported by St Joseph’s College.
