STEAM – Discovery Centre

This week, the Discovery Centre students began learning about magnetic force. We explored how magnets work by investigating North and South poles and discovering that opposite poles attract while like poles repel. Students enjoyed making predictions and testing their ideas through hands-on activities.

We also continued extending our artistic skills by creating paintings inspired by Pete Cromer. Students carefully observed the colours, shapes, and patterns found in Australian birds and used a range of painting techniques to produce their own vibrant artworks. The results were creative, colourful, and uniquely Australian. We practiced our Stop Motion Skills by making short dinosaur videos. What a wonderful start to the term.
