English Events

This term has been busy with students enjoying visits from local authors and performance groups.
Year 8 Picture Book Presentation
The Year 8s enjoyed an extra special presentation from Zeno Sworder, an award-winning writer, artist and children’s book maker as well as an ex University High School student. He spoke about the power and importance of creativity in understanding ourselves and the world around us, and helped students begin generating ideas for the picture book project. During his presentation Zeno also spoke about his experiences at UHS and the lifelong friendships he made here. Thanks so much Zeno for sharing your craft and wisdom with us.
