University High Schools

K-Pop Club

This term, K‑Pop Club has been actively engaging in school activities and taking part in performances, including at the recent Year 7 & 8 assemblies.

K‑Pop Club is a performance‑based club open to students who enjoy dancing, singing, or simply have a passion for K‑Pop. The club offers a welcoming space for fans to connect, share their interests, and collaborate on group performances. Each term, K‑Pop Club hosts showcases to present the dances and talents members have been developing throughout the term.

The club was originally founded in Term 3, 2023 by Melissa Mao. Shortly afterward, leadership transitioned to Elisha Kee, with Taehee Kim and Mai Tran joining as Co‑Leaders.

In addition, K‑Pop Club has a sub‑unit known as Crew 608. During club meetings, members typically spend their time practicing choreography for upcoming performances or socializing with fellow members. Participation in performances is entirely optional — students are equally welcome to join just for the community and shared love of K‑Pop.
